Labyrinth Resources (ASX:LRL) is encouraged by the progress to date at the Cheer prospect with initial assay results expected within the next three to six weeks.
These results will provide insights into the mineralisation potential at Cheer.
The company says reverse circulation drilling operations are progressing on budget and on time with 2,738m from 25 holes drilled to date.
After completing the drilling at Cheer, the drill rig will move to the Comet Vale mine site north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia to target the northern extension of Sovereign Trend.
In April 2023, hole CV23RC_16 intersected 7m at 5.5 grams per tonne of gold from 125m showing mineralisation potential to the north of the historic Sand Queen and Gladsome mines.
Labyrinth is presenting at the Noosa Mining Conference being held at the Peppers Noosa Resort from 13-15 November. Mining.com.au is a media partner of this year’s event. Click here to register.
