Pioneer Minerals (ASX:PMM) has appointed Jay Stephenson as CFO and company secretary, effective 1 August 2026.
Stephenson, of Forest House Accountants and Advisors, will undertake transition and handover activities before formally assuming both roles.
As part of the transition, Paul Hughes will step down as CFO, while Ben Donovan will step down as company secretary. Hughes will continue as interim non-executive director until a replacement is identified and appointed.
Under ASX Listing Rule 12.6, Stephenson will be responsible for communications with the exchange regarding listing rule matters upon commencing as company secretary.
CEO Michael Beven says Stephenson brings experience spanning listed company governance, financial management, capital markets, and the resources sector.

Stephenson has more than 35 years of experience in business development and corporate governance and has served as a director, CFO, and company secretary for entities across the natural resources, information technology, manufacturing, nutraceuticals, hospitality, and property sectors.
During 29 years in senior management roles at listed and unlisted entities, he has overseen acquisitions, mergers, initial public offerings, capital raisings, corporate restructurings, and financial management functions.
His international experience covers several jurisdictions, including Australia, Canada, the US, the UK, South America, and Asia.
Stephenson also holds a Master of Business Administration and is a fellow of CPA Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia. He is also a chartered accountant, chartered professional accountant, and certified management accountant in Canada.
