Diversified mining services firm Perenti’s (ASX:PRN) underground mining business Barminco has secured a $393 million mining services contract at Regis Resources’ (ASX:RRL) Duketon Operations in Western Australia.
Perenti, which has a $940.85 million market capitalisation, says the agreement began yesterday (2 April 2024) and is on a rolling 3-year term.
Under the contract, Barminco will provide underground development, production, and support services.
No new growth capital is required on Perenti’s part.
Perenti Managing Director and CEO Mark Norwell says: “This award adds Australian based underground earnings to our portfolio, which is aligned with the ongoing delivery of our strategy.”
Regis Resources’ Duketon Operations includes the Rosemont and Garden Well underground mines.
Perenti is a global mining services group with interests in contract mining, mining support services, and future technology solutions.
Regis Resources is a gold producer and explorer focused on unlocking the gold endowment in the Duketon Greenstone Belt in the northeastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
