Andrew Paterson, Managing Director of Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR), explains the company’s nimble approach to exploration in order for Great Boulder to expand on the 668,000 ounces of gold at the Side Well project, Western Australia.
Using geochemistry to look for pathfinder minerals such as bismuth, arsenic and antimony, Great Boulder have been able to look for similar geochemical footprints to those found at Ironbark and Mulga Bill to grow the Saltbush prospect.
“So Saltbush is basically from surface which we identified early on and so therefore you know it looks like it’s going to be another deposit, another discovery and another resource coming into the inventory this year,” Paterson says.
