Osisko Development (TSX-V:ODV) has completed a 13,000m infill drilling program at its Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada, with reconciliation work underway on an updated localised block model.
Results from 55 underground infill and near mine exploration diamond drill holes totalled 5,654m at the Lowhee Zone, with 10m drill spacing across six drill hole fans, and final results brought the total drilling to 13,684m.
Key intercepts include 44.68 grams per tonne gold over 1.5m from 27.9m downhole, including 133.62g/t gold over 0.5m from 28.4m downhole. Other significant results include 17.37g/t gold over 2.0m from 60.0m downhole and 15.89g/t gold over 1.5m from 89.5m downhole.
President Chris Lodder says the tighter infill drill spacing provides “better understanding of vein corridor spatial geometries and local variability” within the Lowhee deposit.
“The [program] gives us confidence going forward to help refine infill drill requirements, production designs, and sequencing in the Lowhee deposit of the Cariboo Gold Project,” Lodder says.
The Lowhee Zone represents approximately five per cent of total contained gold in the Cariboo Gold Project’s probable mineral reserves, with 104,491 ounces of contained gold across 923,162 tonnes grading 3.52g/t gold.
The Cariboo Gold Project hosts probable mineral reserves of 2.071 million ounces of contained gold across 17,815 million tonnes grading 3.62g/t gold.
The project received Mines Act and Environmental Management Act (EMA) permits in late 2024, completing the permitting process for key approvals.
