Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has confirmed depth and strike extensions at its Forrest prospect, following phase four diamond drilling at the Miriam Gold Project in Western Australia, located approximately 10km south-southwest of Coolgardie.
The seven diamond holes for 1,000m completed in March have extended the gold system across a north-south strike for approximately 1km and to a vertical depth of 250m, with mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth.
Key results include 33m @ 1.44g/t gold from 135m in hole FGRC056D, expanding on a previously reported 27m @ 1.54g/t gold intercept that ended in mineralisation.
“Building on the strong foundation established by our previous reverse circulation (RC) drilling, our initial diamond drilling program at Forrest has delivered highly encouraging results, confirming both significant down-dip continuity below RC drilling and a further 100m extension of the gold system to the south,” Managing Director Nick Rathjen says.
“Overall, we now see a coherent gold system extending over approximately 1km on a north-south strike length and to a vertical depth of at least 250m.”
The company has also completed single metre re-assaying of selected composite samples, with three holes showing material changes to previously reported intercepts.
FGRC059 now reports 15m @ 1.28g/t gold from 28m, revised from the previously reported 20m @ 1.88g/t gold.
The company reports $9.6 million cash and zero debt as at 31 March 2026, positioning it to advance planned exploration across its Coolgardie and Kal East Gold Projects throughout 2026.
Ore Resources plans targeted follow-up drilling at Forrest during the second half of 2026 to better define the geometry and potential plunge orientation of ‘high-grade’ shoots, with the deposit remaining open along strike and at depth.
