Ore Resources Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project in Coolgardie, Western Australia

Ore extends lithium footprint at Kangaroo Hills

Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has reported successful extensions to both the Big Red and Potoroo pegmatite systems at its Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project in Western Australia.

The company completed 20 reverse circulation holes for 3,300m across April and May 2026, combining step-out and infill drilling objectives at the project within its broader Coolgardie Lithium Projects portfolio.

Infill drilling at Big Red confirmed consistent grades and widths over a 500m northeast-southwest strike, with key intercepts including 34m at 1.11% lithium oxide from 77m, including 14m at 1.63% lithium oxide from 96m in hole KHRC214.

Additional significant results from the Big Red system included 18m at 1.03% lithium oxide from 103m, including 10m at 1.49% lithium oxide from 103m in KHRC211, and 28m at 0.89% lithium oxide from 68m, including 12m at 1.01% lithium oxide from 82m and 9m at 1.06% lithium oxide from 68m in KHRC209.

Step-out drilling north of previous drill lines successfully intersected lithium mineralisation, returning 12m at 1.05% lithium oxide from 147m in KHRC216 and 10m at 1.02% lithium oxide from 145m in KHRC200.

These holes represent a 60m northern extension of previous drilling that returned 20m at 0.81% lithium oxide.

Potoroo results and project outlook

At the Potoroo system, drilling successfully extended the pegmatite a further 50m north through KHRC201, which intercepted 8m at 1.08% lithium oxide from 130m.

To the west, KHRC213 defined continuity of mineralisation with a 90m western extension, returning 4m at 1.01% lithium oxide from 113m.

Infill drilling at Potoroo returned 11m at 1.05% lithium oxide from 111m and 5m at 1.09% lithium oxide from 158m in KHRC199.

In line with improving lithium market conditions and increasing activity in the region surrounding our Coolgardie projects, we are assessing several near-term project development and commercialisation pathways aimed at unlocking significant value at Kangaroo Hills,” Managing Director Nick Rathjen says.

Rathjen notes that Kangaroo Hills is one of the few remaining lithium projects in Australia not in development, production, or subject to existing offtake arrangements.

Ore Resources reports $9.6 million in cash and zero debt as at 31 March 2026, positioning it to advance all planned exploration at its Coolgardie and Kal East Lithium and Gold Projects.
