Orbminco launches gold processing studies in Western Australia

Orbminco (ASX:OB1) has commenced metallurgical testwork at its wholly owned Majestic North Gold Project in Western Australia, with the program aiming to identify the simplest and fastest processing pathways, with a focus on shallow supergene-enriched gold mineralisation.

The testwork will assess the potential for an on-site gravity circuit, evaluate cyanide leach performance, and benchmark against third-party toll treatment options.

The scope of the testwork covers composite sample preparation, gold deportment studies, mineralogy, particle size analysis, gravity recoverable gold testing, and cyanide leach kinetics.

Initial results are expected in the coming weeks and will feed into ongoing technical and economic evaluations, alongside drilling and a targeted mineral resource update scheduled for March/April 2026.

This testwork is supported by Orbminco’s recent $5 million capital raise, funding further drilling and development.

The company views the metallurgical program as a critical step toward rapid monetisation of Majestic North while retaining control over processing and asset value.

Orbminco is an exploration company, focused on projects in Australia and Mongolia.
