Orange Minerals (ASX:OMX) has received ministerial consent for the assignment of three prospecting licences at its Tepa Gold Project in Ghana.
The consent covers the transfer of the Mpasaso, Wioso, and Ohiapae licences to the company’s wholly owned Ghanaian subsidiary, Hunuyesi Resources.
This was recommended by the Minerals Commission, representing a key step in finalising the licence transfers.
The ministerial consent supports Orange Minerals’ entry into Ghana and provides a pathway towards advancing exploration activities at Tepa.
The project lies along strike from Asante Gold’s (CVE:ASE) Bibiani and Chirano mines within a multi-million-ounce gold district.
The Tepa Gold Project sits within Ghana’s Sefwi Gold Belt, which hosts numerous operating mines.
Orange Minerals is an Australian exploration company focused on polymetallic opportunities in Western Australia’s Pilbara region and New South Wales’ Lachlan Fold Belt.
