Open mineralisation found at Terra Metals’ Dante

Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) has identified an ‘unbroken’ platinum group metals (PGMs), copper, and nickel zone at its Dante Project in Western Australia’s West Musgrave region.

Terra has released final assay results from the southwest prospect’s 2025 maiden drilling program. The results defined a large and continuous mineralised system.

Initial assay results show 172.4-metre mineralised core intervals at 1.11 grams per tonne of PGE3 (the sum of platinum, palladium, and gold), 0.11% of copper, and 0.15% of nickel from 172 metres to the end-of-hole. ‘High-grade’ zones of up to 31.11 g/t of PGE3 were also recorded as being more than 30cm deep.

These results prompted the company to systematically extend sampling into adjacent, previously untested zones, significantly expanding the recognised thickness and continuity of mineralisation. These results will also inform further sampling of drill hole SWD006 and new assays from holes SWDD003–005 and SWDD007–008.

These results reinforce the scale, continuity, and polymetallic nature of the southwest intrusion and highlight its strong potential for further resource growth.

Partial PGE7 assays confirm consistent presence of high-value iridium-group PGMs (rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, and iridium) within the southwest system.

The presence of iridium-group PGMs supports a primitive magmatic sulphide system and feeder-related processes. Further PGE7 assays are pending.

“These final results fundamentally change how we view the southwest system. What we previously reported as two separate intercepts in SWRC031 and SWDD006 is now confirmed as a single, continuous 172-metre zone of PGM-copper-nickel mineralisation to end-of-hole — with bonanza-grade hits up to 1 ounce per tonne of PGE3 inside,” Managing Director and CEO Thomas Line says.

“With consistent nickel grades through the entire interval, fresh hits in SWDD003 and SWDD004, and clear evidence the system is open at depth, we believe southwest has the hallmarks of an emerging large-scale, high-grade PGM-copper-nickel discovery.”

Terra Metals is a copper, gold, platinum group elements, vanadium, and titanium exploration company with assets mainly in Western Australia’s West Musgrave region.
