Olympio presented Bousquet of gold intercepts

Olympio Metals (ASX:OLY) has received final assays from preliminary drilling at the Bousquet Gold Project in Québec, Canada.

The CB-1 target intersected 1.3m @ 12.2 grams per tonne gold from 218.2m at hole BO-25-23 in a new zone, representing a third fertile structure at the asset.

Other highlights from this campaign includes 1.45m @ 2.04g/t gold from 270.9m, 3m @ 2.21g/t gold from 24.35m, 1.5m @ 4.22g/t gold from 92.5m, and 4.3m @ 0.98g/t gold from 70.15m.

Olympio says the final three holes south of the Paquin prospect confirm a “large system with gold-bearing structures over 100m down hole”.

Managing Director Sean Delaney says the company is excited to receive the remaining results from preliminary drilling at Bousquet.

“The program has given us a much greater understanding of the structural controls on gold mineralisation at the Paquin prospect and gives us confidence that the Bousquet Project is host to a large gold system,” Delaney says.

“Our geology team is now well-positioned to efficiently test 1.3km of the east-west trending mineralised zone which extends from Paquin to the Amadee prospect.

“In addition, the CB-1 target was advanced with the identification of three fertile structures in close proximity, with all structures open down dip and along strike.

“Planning is underway for high impact drilling guided by our updated structural model at Bousquet.”

The Bousquet Project is an advanced gold asset located on the Cadillac-Lake Larder Fault Zone in Québec, Canada.

Olympio Metals is an Australian explorer focused on building value through the discovery and development of gold projects in Québec, Canada.
