Olympio has linked the Paquin and Amadee prospects to indicate an east-west trending system with 1.3km of strike that remains open to the west.
The company says the main lode at Paquin unveils potential for ‘high grade shoots’. Over at Paquin Deeps, Olympio believes the system is present down to 430m vertical.
Olympio is planning follow up drilling to be completed at Bousquet, focusing on establishing dimensions and grade continuity from these results.
Managing Director Sean Delaney says the company is pleased with the results returned from last year’s drilling campaign.
“The maiden program at Bousquet South has highlighted three main structural trends through Decoeur, Paquin, and CB-1,” Delaney says.
“Each of these structural trends has successfully demonstrated multiple significant gold intercepts confirming that Bousquet South is a large gold system with multiple deposit potential.
“The company will now focus on advancing exploration of each of these main east-west trending structures to identify the zones of greatest economic potential.
“The Bousquet Project provides us with exposure to a quality gold project in a renowned mining area that still has significant regional upside with 80% of the project area remaining unexplored.”
Located on the Cadillac-Lake Larder Fault Zone in Québec, the Bousquet Project is an ‘advanced’ gold asset which Olympio will be able to acquire up to 80% of through an option agreement.
