Olympio hits visible gold at Paquin

Olympio Metals (ASX:OLY) has intersected multiple visible gold occurrences from phase two of drilling at the Bousquet Gold Project in Québec, Canada.

The fourth drillhole at the Paquin gold prospect observed visible gold within a 6.25m zone of dark quartz veining, with further zones of quartz veining, sulphides, and alteration logged.

Drilling is following up on highlights from 2025 exploration that returned intercepts including 6.4m @ 6.54 grams per tonne gold from 183m, 7,9m @ 6.2g/t gold from 138m, 1.5 @ 54.2g/t gold from 235.5m.

Managing Director Sean Delaney says the company is “delighted to see significant visible gold” in follow up drilling at Paquin.

“Hole BO-26-63 has confirmed the potential of the main lode at Paquin,” Delaney says.

“The geology team will continue to process and log the core, ensuring that BO-26-63 is prioritised for analysis at the lab.”

Olympio Metals is an Australian explorer focused on building value through the discovery and development of gold projects in Québec, Canada.

The company is attending the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Conference, held from 1-4 March 2026 in Toronto, Canada. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event and will be in attendance.
