OD6 confirms ‘high-grade’ mineralisation at Quinn

OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) has discovered a ‘high-grade’ fluorspar system at its Quinn Project, 220km north of Las Vegas in Nevada.

First assay results reveal an “exceptionally” high 53.2% level of calcium fluoride in rock chip samples from a 9,000m² prospective target zone at the Mammoth deposit.

Other samples returned 43.8%, 33.8%, 32.9%, and 31.5%. This suggests the target zone extends west and north, meaning a potentially “broader high-grade fluorspar system”. There could also be highly prospective mineralisation that extends to the east.

“The presence of high-grade fluorspar in surrounding limestone, combined with strong geological indicators to the west, north, and under cover to the east, highlights a potentially much larger mineralised system than previously recognised,” Managing Director Brett Hazelden says.

“We are now focused on systematically advancing exploration and defining drill targets, with the aim of establishing one of the premier fluorspar projects in the United States.”

OD6 now plans to start on-ground surface exploration work.

OD6 Geological Advisor Darren Holden will visit the site to consult on the exploration program and future drill targeting.

The company has already secured funding to accelerate exploration activity.

OD6 Metals is a critical minerals explorer and developer with assets mostly in Australia and the US.
