Nova Minerals Estelle

Nova approaches inflection point for Estelle

Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) is advancing applications for potential non-dilutive funding, with the aim of accelerating the development of the Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project in Alaska, US.

CEO Christopher Gerteisen says while the company is not in a position to share full details yet, discussions are underway and extend far beyond traditional exploration support.

“Estelle is evolving from a single project into a strategic mineralised district – potentially critical to western efforts to secure supply chains and reduce reliance on foreign sources of critical minerals,” Gerteisen says.

“With all key elements now appearing to converge, we believe a major inflection point is approaching.”

This news comes after Gerteisen was invited to meet with the Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy to discuss the Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project’s progress and key infrastructure requirements.

The requirements include West Susitna access road, Port MacKenzie upgrade and economic zone, and Alaska LNG which is a vital energy infrastructure component to support mineral processing and sustainable project development.

Dunleavy provided support for the access road as he says the project “presents a fantastic opportunity for Alaska to expand and generate revenue”.

Meanwhile, following an enquiry from the Australian Consulate in Los Angeles, Nova Minerals, which has a market capitalisation of $124.47 million, hosted Australian Consular-General Tanya Bennett at Estelle.

The visit highlighted Estelle as an example of growing Australia-US collaboration in the strategic mineral sector. While in Alaska, Bennett also met with Dunleavy and various state agencies, reinforcing diplomatic support for the continued advancement of Estelle.

Gerteisen adds that these initiatives position Estelle as a potential key contributor to strengthening domestic resource security.

“We believe Estelle is emerging as a rare and valuable dual-commodity asset,” he says.

The Estelle Project hosts more than 30 prospects spanning a 35km-long mineralised corridor. The project covers 514km2 within the Tintina Gold Belt, a region known to hold over 220 million ounces of primarily bulk tonnage, high-margin gold deposits.
