Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE:NOP) has released assay results from its first six drill holes at the Upper Phosphatic Zone (UPZ) at Murdock Mountain. Samples averaged 10.93% phosphorus pentoxide, confirming the presence of a phosphate-bearing horizon in the deposit.
The company emphasized that the deposit is more than just phosphate ore. It is a naturally balanced fertiliser containing calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, manganese, silicon, and trace micronutrients. This multi-nutrient profile supports soil health and provides a slow-release nutrient effect, making it attractive for organic and regenerative farming practices.
NOP also highlighted the exceptionally clean chemistry of the deposit. Contaminants such as cadmium, arsenic, lead, and radionuclides were found to be well below regulatory thresholds. This positions the UPZ material as a premium, low-risk input for agriculture, with added benefits like buffering soil acidity and improving long-term fertility.
CEO Robin Dow says that the assay results validate the strategic importance of the project.
“We are defining a uniquely clean and naturally balanced phosphate system at a time when growers, distributors, and regulators are all demanding lower-risk nutrient sources,” Dow says.
“The chemistry we are seeing, with low impurities, meaningful co-nutrients, and slow-release phosphorus, aligns directly with the needs of organic and regenerative agriculture.”
By combining nutrient richness with low contaminants, the company believes the UPZ project offers strong potential in global fertiliser markets, particularly for growers seeking sustainable and environmentally safe solutions.
Director Garry Smith says that “as global contaminant limits tighten, clean phosphate sources are becoming increasingly scarce”.
“NOP’s low cadmium, low arsenic, and low radionuclide signature reduces regulatory friction for growers and positions the company to compete in premium fertiliser markets where compliance and purity matter.”
The company recently commissioned a listing on the OTCQB Venture Market, as previously reported, solidifying their space as a US-based asset for the US market.
Nevada Organic Phosphate is progressing to become a significant producer of raw, organic, direct-ship of pit-run phosphate fertiliser to North America’s growing organic food industry.
