Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE:NOP) says recent drilling at its Murdock Mountain Project has extended the confirmed strike length of the Upper Phosphate Zone to more than 3km, strengthening the project’s exploration potential.
The milestone came from drill hole MM26-10, a 1.5km step-out.
Preliminary core logging identified visual evidence of the Meade Peak Member and the oolitic textures associated with the Upper Phosphate Zone, consistent with the company’s geological model.
The company says the intersection demonstrates continuity of the Upper Phosphate Zone along strike, a key requirement for future resource evaluation.
“MM26-10 intersecting the Meade Peak with clear indications of the oolitic Upper Phosphate Zone is a significant milestone for NOP,” CEO Robin Dow states.
“This hole extends our confirmed strike length to over 3km, marking meaningful progress in demonstrating continuity of the target strike.”
Meanwhile, the company’s exploration team continues to prospect for additional extensions of the Upper Phosphate Zone across its three other properties.
According to Nevada Organic, early field observations have confirmed the presence of the oolitic Upper Phosphate Zone at multiple locations, in line with its geological model.
Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior exploration company with a 6.6km-long organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed in northeast Nevada, US.
