Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE:NOP) has paused drilling operations at the Murdock Mountain Project in the US, as the drill contractor observes mandatory crew rest coinciding with the Memorial Day long weekend.
The pause is part of standard safety and workforce management requirements. Drilling is expected to resume immediately following the scheduled break.
During this period, the company remains fully active onsite, advancing several key workstreams. These include core logging and sampling of the current drillholes to refine geological interpretation and prospecting within three new prospecting permit application areas.
The company is conducting the prospecting to evaluate additional phosphate-bearing horizons.
Nevada Organic is also conducting reclamation of drill pads that are no longer required for the 2026 exploration program.
CEO Robin Dow says the Memorial Day crew rest aligns well with the company’s field schedule.
“While the drillers take their mandated break, our team continues logging core, prospecting new ground, and completing reclamation on pads we no longer need,” Dow says.
“It’s a measured, disciplined approach that keeps the program advancing.”
Waiving warrant acceleration provision
Nevada Organic has also waived the forced warrant acceleration provision, with respect to the outstanding 23.6 million warrants issued under a previously reported private placement from 2025.
The company will not provide warrant holders with an acceleration notice and will not exercise its right to accelerate the expiry date. Holders of the warrants will retain the full benefit of the original terms and will have until the respective expiry dates of each tranche of the private placement to exercise their warrants at the exercise price of US$0.10.
Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior explorer focused on its exploration portfolio in northeast Nevada.
