Engineering company Monadelphous (ASX:MND) has secured new contracts, valued at more than $100 million, in the energy sector with groups servicing the likes of Shell (LSE:SHEL) and Origin Energy (ASX:ORG).
The company secured a contract with Technip Energies for the provision of multi-disciplinary services associated with the hook up and commissioning of Shell’s Crux platform off the coast of Western Australia.
Shell’s platform is located 620km north-east of Broome and is around 160km from its Prelud floating liquified natural gas facility. The Shell Crux facility forms part of the long-term backfill to Prelude.
Monadelphous, which has a market capitalisation of $1.7 billion, says work is expected to be completed late next year.
The company’s fabrication services business Inteforge also secured a two-year extension to its master goods engagement with Origin Energy to continue supplying well-site equipment for Australia Pacific LNG in Queensland.
Inteforge has been supplying packaged and modularised equipment to Origin Energy since 2015.
