Metalsource extends Silver Hill system

Metalsource Mining (CSE:MSM) has extended the Silver Hill polymetallic system 65m south following visual mineralisation in drill hole SH26-27.

The hole intersected approximately 15m of polymetallic mineralisation, representing the southernmost drill intercept reported to date. The target horizon comprises widespread sphalerite and galena dominant polymetallic mineralisation, including an internal interval of 3.5m of semi-massive to massive sulphides.

Laboratory assays remain pending for SH26-27 and several additional drill holes.

CEO Joe Cullen says the company is encouraged by the style, thickness, and continuity of the sulphide mineralisation observed in the core.

“SH26-27 is another encouraging step forward for the program,” Cullen says.

“This hole extends the known mineralised corridor approximately 65m south of SH26-19 and continues to demonstrate that the system remains open for expansion.”

Metalsource is now focused on the next phase of drilling, which aims to expand the mineralisation surrounding hole SH26-07 along strike, down plunge, and at depth.

Meanwhile, a second drill rig remains on schedule for mobilisation to expand the Silver Hill system and test newly identified induced polarisation targets.

The company also continues building toward a maiden mineral resource estimate targeted for early 2027, while assessing opportunities to expand its land position.

Located in Davidson County in North Carolina, the estimated 496-hectare Silver Hill Project includes an ancient producing district dating back to 1839. Currently known mineralisation extends to 550m from surface in a steeply trending series of lenses, which remain open in multiple directions.
