Metal Bank (ASX:MBK) is seeking to expedite production within the Livingstone Gold Project in Western Australia, as part of the company’s development strategy.
Since upgrading the resource estimates in March 2025, the company has been focused on assessing the development potential of the Kingsley and Homestead deposits.
The company aims to expedite mining of existing resources and use nearby third-party infrastructure for processing.
Executive Chairman Ines Scotland says the company has multiple catalysts through near-term production using nearby third-party processing infrastructure and further exploration.
“We are now focusing on how we can achieve sufficient scale to support production and will provide a fuller update once our plans are finalised,” Scotland says.
Parallel to the existing resource development, Metal Bank will be completing further drilling to expand the existing resources and upgrade existing exploration targets.
Livingstone currently has a resource of 2.8 million tonnes @ 1.36 grams per tonne gold for 122,600 ounces of gold. Livingstone also hosts an existing exploration target at Kingsley East of between 290,000-400,000 tonnes @ 1.8-2g/t gold for 16,800 to 25,700 ounces of gold.
The Livingstone Project, covering 395km2, is located 140km northwest of Meekatharra in Western Australia.
Metal Bank is a copper and gold-focused explorer with projects in Australia and Saudi Arabia.
