Manhattan Corporation (ASX: MHC) has intersected ‘significant’ shallow gold mineralisation from recently-completed RC drilling at its Tibooburra Gold Project in north-western NSW.
The miner reports that ongoing drilling has encountered mineralisation in all holes, with standout hits including:
- Hole NB0105:
- 63m @ 1.33 g/t Au from 24m; including
- 14m @ 4.77 g/t Au from 52m

Manhattan noted that the results continue to support its interpretation of shallow north plunging high-grade shoots within a broader gold mineralised regional shear mineralised footprint.
14 RC drill holes and one diamond precollar were completed for 1,795m at the ‘high-grade’ New Bendigo Main Zone, which sits within a 25km gold mineralised strike in the northern part of the Tibooburra Gold Project.
Drilling targeted additional mineralisation and the north plunging shoots along the Main Zone corridor, which extends for over 650 metres of strike.
The 2,200 km² Tibooburra Gold Project covers approximately 220km of what it describes as ‘significantly under-explored’ gold mineralised strike.
Looking forward, the company notes that drilling will continue to test the size of the Main Zone mineralised system which continues to demonstrate the potential to host a ‘significant’ shallow, high-grade gold resource.
Manhattan recommenced drilling at Main Zone on March 12, 2022, having completed approximately 1,600m to date. Drilling is planned to continue throughout March 2022 and then span multiple campaigns until mid-2022.
