Makenita engages geophysics firm for Sisson West

Makenita Resources (CSE:KENY) has engaged New-Sense Geophysics to commence exploration at its Sisson West Tungsten Project in New Brunswick, Canada, with work expected to begin within days.

President Jason Gigliotti says the company is well-positioned to advance the project.

“We’re extremely excited to kick off operations in New Brunswick on our tungsten project, located right next to the Sisson Tungsten Mine,” Gigliotti says.

“I recently had a great conversation with the Hon. Susan Holt, Premier of New Brunswick, and came away very impressed. She has a bold, clear vision for growing the Province and is highly focused on building New Brunswick into a mining powerhouse.”

The company’s 100 percent-owned project spans approximately 9,845 contiguous acres and borders Northcliff Resources’ (TSX:NCF) Sisson Tungsten Mine, which has been designated as one of five nation-building projects by Prime Minister Mark Carney.

In addition to Sisson West, Makenita holds the 9,000-acre NTX Rare Earth Project in Quebec and the 5,542-acre Hector Property near Cobalt, Ontario, which is prospective for cobalt, silver and diamonds.
