Madman finds a new target north

Buxton Resources (ASX:BUX) has wrapped up maiden diamond drilling at the Madman Gold-Copper Project, and the first pass has already given the company somewhere new to chase.

Managing Director Martin Moloney says drilling confirmed a sulphide-bearing hydrothermal system, while downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying picked up a new conductor around 350m north of the first hole.

  • System confirmed: Both holes intersected sulphides, veining, and brecciation
  • New target: A conductor sits north of the first hole
  • More DHEM: Follow-up surveys will sharpen the geometry
  • Assays next: Full multi-element results are targeted by the end of September
  • Follow-up drilling: The next hole depends on where the conductor lands

Madman found the system.

Buxton wants the hot spot.

About the guest and company:
Martin Moloney is the managing director of Buxton Resources, an Australian explorer advancing copper, gold, nickel, graphite, and iron projects across Western Australia and Arizona, US. Madman is a wholly owned gold-copper project where maiden drilling has confirmed a sulphide-bearing hydrothermal system.
