Macmahon Holdings’ (ASX:MAH) subsidiary Decmil has secured $144 million in new civil contract awards.
The company is exhibiting at this year’s Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Mining.com.au is also in attendance this year, with Executive Producer Shae Russell on the ground.
Under the Marble Bar Road upgrade project, Decmil received a notice of award from privately held HanRoy Iron Ore Projects. The $104 million contract for sections 5 and 2B covers 46km of road construction upgrade works to Main Roads Western Australia standards on Marble Bar Road.
The work is anticipated to begin this month over an eight-month period.
Meanwhile, Hamersley Iron, part of mining giant Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO), has awarded Decmil a $28 million contract to deliver stage 2A of the Jerriwah Village Expansion Project at the Brockman 2 Mine in Western Australia.
The project involves installing client supplied accommodation modules, laundry facilities, and a gymnasium. Decmil will also design, supply, and install a new multi-sports court facility and other outdoor amenities.
Macmahon says these activities will begin mid this year, with completion anticipated in 2026.
Decmil has also signed a $12 million contract with Glencore (LSE:GLEN) to perform earthworks and civil works at the Rolleston Open Cut Mine in Queensland. Initial work is expected to be completed in early 2026.
