Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) has completed a detailed bench by bench design for the upcoming Lady Herial open pit in collaboration with major shareholder St Ives Gold Mining.
The design process led to a mine schedule that will allow Lunnon to complete the feasibility study, the results of which will be reported shortly.
The agreement with St Ives on this detailed mine schedule satisfies the final condition of the ore purchase agreement previously announced. This renders the ore purchase agreement unconditional.
Completion of the feasibility study will allow the board to make a final investment decision, following which mining contracts will be signed and mining will begin.
Lunnon has already received all regulatory approvals from the Western Australian government’s Department of Mines, Petroleum, and Exploration.
Managing Director Edmund Ainscough says that “from the middle of 2025, we have methodically ticked each and every box required to move from an exploration stage through to now being mining ready”.
Lunnon Metals is focused on gold and nickel assets, with first gold discovery at Lady Herial within the Kambalda Gold and Nickel Project in Western Australia.
