LithiumBank appoints ExxonMobil veteran as VP

LithiumBank Resources (TSX-V:LBNK) has appointed Logan Harris as vice president of project development as it advances its Boardwalk Lithium Brine Project in Alberta, Canada.

Harris joins from ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions (NYSE:XOM), where he led deep-brine direct lithium extraction (DLE) project development. He brings over 15 years of experience across subsurface engineering, drilling and completions, technology development, and project development.

The company is progressing the Boardwalk Project towards feasibility while working with SLB (NYSE:SLB) to assess commercial-scale production utilising DLE technology.

CEO Rob Shewchuk says Harris joins LithiumBank at a pivotal point as the company transitions from resource delineation towards project execution and commercialisation.

[Logan’s] extensive experience in evaluating major development opportunities, advancing capital-intensive resource projects, and optimising project economics will be instrumental as we progress Boardwalk through feasibility, engineering, and permitting stages.”

Harris will lead the advancement of LithiumBank’s development portfolio, oversee project evaluation, development strategy, engineering integration, and economic optimisation.

The newly minted VP says LithiumBank holds significant lithium brine resources in North America, “and at Boardwalk, that resource is paired with a signed development agreement with SLB and existing infrastructure in an established energy basin.”

“I look forward to working with the team and SLB to strengthen the project economics, reduce execution risk and build a financeable path toward commercialisation,” Harris says.

LithiumBank holds over 500,000 hectares of brownfield brine-hosted mineral licences across three districts in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

LithiumBank Resources is focused on developing its Boardwalk and Park Place lithium projects in western Canada.
