Australian mineral exploration company Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) reports it has appointed corporate finance veteran Michael Fry as its company secretary.
The company says Fry boasts over 30 years’ of experience within the corporate finance industry which he has gathered from secretarial, chief financial officer (CFO) and director roles for other ASX-listed companies.

It notes he holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently the company secretary for a variety of other ASX-listed companies.
In addition, the appointment of Michael Fry comes following the departure of current Lindian Resources Secretary Susan Park, who has over 24 years’ experience in the corporate finance industry and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
The company notes that it wishes to thank Susan Park for her services to the company.
Lindian Resources is an ASX-listed, African-based mineral exploration company that currently boasts a portfolio of world-class rare earth element (REE) and bauxite assets that are critical to Electric Vehicles (EVs) and a range of other industries.
These ‘globally significant’ assets are considered vital for the change to an energy efficient environment, providing much needed minerals to aid in the advancement of electronic infrastructure, solar panels, rechargeable batteries, wind turbines, as well as medical imaging and manufacturing.

In particular, the company’s Kangankunde Rare Earths Project is reported as a ‘significant’ REE resource in potential for size, grade and quality, with the project hosting a carbonite intrusive that has returned ‘outstanding’ grades of up to 23.7% total rare earth oxide (TREO).
Meanwhile, Lindian’s Guinea Bauxite tenements boast over 1 billion tonnes of high-quality bauxite resources, with ‘excellent’ infrastructure in the world’s premier bauxite region.
With Michael Fry now appointed as the new company secretary, Lindian Resources announces that Fry will commence his new role with immediate effect and will be the person responsible for communications between the company and the ASX.
