Linden Gold returns ‘high-grade’ intercepts from Devon Project JV in WA

Linden Gold (ASX:LDN) has reported ‘significant high-grade’ gold results from reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its Devon Gold Project in Western Australia, held in a joint venture (JV) with Matsa Resources (ASX:MAT).

The company says the RC program consisted of 15 holes drilled for 1,175m, targeting the main and western lodes within the pit shell at the Devon Pit. Assays returned the following ‘significant’ results from the Main Lode: hole ML06 with 1m @ 10.60g/t Au from 92m; and hole ML29 with 1m @ 16.56g/t Au from 37m.

Commenting on the drill results, Linden Gold Alliance Managing Director Andrew Rich says: “These results from this RC drilling program validate our plans to recommence an open pit operation at Devon, with all of the significant gold intercepts located within the current optimised pit shell.”

Linden says it has completed additional scoping work on a pit restart and further pit optimisations, with preliminary results supportive of a robust financial outcome, subject to feasibility.
