Leviathan Metals (TSX-V:LVX) has closed its ‘best efforts’ private placement to raise C$10 million ($10.17 million) for drilling and other exploration activities across its portfolio of assets.
The company has issued 15.62 million common shares at C$0.64 each, issued pursuant to the listed issuer financing exemption.
Leviathan directors and executive officers subscribed for a total of 1.03 million common shares in this offer, raising aggregate gross proceeds of $663,488.
Funds will be used for activities across the company’s properties in Botswana, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Australia, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes.
The company recently completed a high-resolution, helicopter borne, time-domain electromagnetic survey at its Central Project in Botswana, as its opening move into exploration at Central, as reported by Mining.com.au.
In March 2026, Leviathan entered into a purchase agreement with a private third-party regarding a prospecting licence situated in close proximity to the Central Project.
The licences cover 270km2, expanding the Central Project to 590km2.
