Kutcho Copper targets resource growth in Canada

Kutcho Copper Corp (TSX-V:KC) plans to test two near-resource targets at its copper-zinc development project in Northwest British Columbia during its 2026 exploration program.

The 2026 program will include six drillholes across the Hamburger and the Gap targets, with downhole electromagnetic surveys planned to refine targeting. The company indicates additional drill targets will be outlined in future announcements.

Both targets combine for over 4km2 of prospective area within 5km of defined resources at the feasibility-stage Kutcho project.

Hamburger covers  2.8km2, representing more than double the area of the current Main Deposit mineral resource.

Historical hole E062 west of the target returned 0.227% copper and 1.07% zinc over 1.9m within Kutcho time horizon rocks. The company plans three broadly spaced holes to test the thickest zones of high z-axis tipper electromagnetic (ZTEM) conductivity at Hamburger.

The Gap target spans 1.3km2 and occurs at the intersection of two conductivity trends near the western end of the Main Deposit. Historical drilling identified positive VMS indicators including carbonate alteration and pyrite mineralisation up to 15m in length.

CEO Vince Sorace says multiple near resource high-priority drill targets present an opportunity for the company to drive towards its objective, which is to increase the size of the current resource.

The Kutcho project hosts a high-grade copper-zinc deposit currently at feasibility study stage. The company continues to advance permitting with the objective of reaching a positive construction decision.

Kutcho Copper is a mineral explorer focused on discovering, growing and producing its namesake copper-zinc project in Canada. The project, covering 17,060 hectares, is located 120km east of Dease Lake in northern British Columbia and consists of one mining lease and 46 mineral exploration claims.
