Krakatoa strikes Stone Tank and Dingo Pass

Krakatoa Resources (ASX:KTA) has completed a two-hole drilling program targeting rare earths at the Stone Tank site within the Mt Clere Project in Western Australia.

The 1,000m drilling campaign tested two targets, Jagger and Richards, and was partly funded by a $220,000 grant from the Western Australian Government through its Exploration Incentive Scheme.

Results from the program are expected in Q4 2025.

Krakatoa has also lodged a land application at the nearby Dingo Pass, which would expand the company’s holdings by 9km.

Executive Chairman Colin Locke said the initial program was encouraging, with work now focused on core processing and sample selection.

“We are excited to announce that drilling has been completed over the highly prospective Stone Tank niobium rare earths prospect,” Locke said.

The application for land at Dingo Pass comes as historical drilling at the site indicates mineralisation extends for eight kilometres from the project boundary.
