Koonenberry Gold (ASX:KNB) has received results from the first five holes of its diamond drilling program at the Sunnyside Prospect.
The company has conducted drilling across 3,482m from nine holes in Phase two of diamond drilling.
Notable intercepts include 44.5m @ 1.01 grams per tonne gold, including 0.3m @ 17.6g/t from 368.4m and 0.5m @ 26.4g/t from 384m, within a broader intercept of 139m @ 0.44g/t from 327m.
Managing Director Dan Power says the Sunnyside mineral system continues to grow, with broad zones of potential bulk tonnage gold mineralisation being highlighted in several new drill holes as well as high-grade gold zones at depth.
“These results have extended the mineralised zone a further 165m below previous drilling, with mineralisation now defined from surface to an impressive 415m vertical and along 260m of strike,” he says.
Koonenberry says mineralisation remains open with drilling continuing to test for extensions at the Enmore Gold project in New South Wales.
As of 13 December 2025, the company had $6.3 million cash in hand to continue exploration.
Koonenberry Gold aims to discover gold and copper, mainly focusing on the Enmore Gold Project.
