Kingsrose Mining (ASX:KRM) has appointed Terry Holohan as acting CEO, following the immediate resignation of Managing Director Fabian Baker.
Holohan will hold the interim CEO position for a six-month period, under a consulting contract. Holohan, a qualified metallurgist, has over 40 years’ experience in the mining industry involving exploration and production across gold, platinum group metals, nickel, and copper.
Kingsrose says Holohan brings extensive business experience in acquisition and initial public offerings, as well as raising project finance.
Chairman Mike Andrews says the company is grateful to Baker for managing the company’s exit from Indonesia and building the project portfolio in Scandinavia, as well as establishing an alliance with BHP (ASX:BHP).
“Various gold project opportunities at feasibility stage or near-term production stage in mining friendly jurisdictions are being evaluated by Kingsrose currently,” Andrews says.
Kingsrose Mining is a mineral explorer focused on a range of minerals, as well as providing a clean energy future through its asset portfolio in Finland and Norway.
