Investigator Silver (ASX:IVR) has appointed five senior executives to advance its Paris Silver Project towards development following the completion of its Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS).
Joe Sutanto will be joining Investigator as CFO on 7 September, bringing over 20 years of experience across corporate finance and mining operations.
He previously worked with Managing Director Lachlan Wallace on the Kanmantoo Underground Copper Mine development in South Australia.
Milan Jiranek will come onboard as Project Director — Construction, leading detailed engineering and execution planning, including engineering, procurement, and construction management activities.
As the new Project Director — Technical, Geoff Deans will oversee permitting, native title, stakeholder engagement, and technical workstreams.
Meanwhile, Luke Cerny is joining Investigator as Principal Mining Engineer, bringing extensive mine development and operational experience.
Finally, Ben Cave has been appointed Senior Exploration Geologist, joining the company to support ongoing drilling and exploration with his broad experience across a range of mineral systems and deposit styles.
Wallace says the new appointments strengthen the company’s capability across project delivery, finance, engineering, and operations.
“Collectively, the team now includes individuals who have played leading roles in the financing, development, construction, and operation of projects including Kanmantoo, Carrapateena, and Peak Iron’s Gawler Craton operations,” Wallace says.
“Importantly, many of these individuals have recent and highly relevant South Australian mine development experience.
“They understand the local operating environment, contractors, infrastructure, regulatory framework, and the practical realities of delivering projects in this State.”
The Paris Silver Project, located on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, hosts a mineral resource of 24 million tonnes at 73 grams per tonne silver and 0.41% lead for 57 million ounces of silver and 99,000 tonnes of lead.
Current on-site work is focused on permitting, detailed engineering, financing, and drilling programs to expand the Paris pit.
The company completed its DFS in February, confirming that the Paris project is capable of producing more than 30 million ounces of silver over an initial 11-year mine life.
Backed by approximately $60 million in cash, the company is well funded to advance its existing workstreams with the goal of supporting a final investment decision.
Investigator Silver is an Australian metals and silver explorer and is currently known as the country’s only pure-play silver developer, with its flagship Paris project in South Australia.
