Intra Energy identifying Maggie Hays Hill mineralisation scale

Intra Energy Corporation (ASX:IEC) is planning to follow-up previous ‘high-grade’ gold results at the recently identified lodes within the Maggie Hays Hill Project in Western Australia.

The $4.22 million market capitalisation company says infill soil sampling and field mapping programs will be conducted to uncover the scale of mineralisation, as well as to test several historically identified anomalies that were never evaluated.

Intra Energy conducted a mapping and rock sampling program at the project in February 2024, which returned ‘high-grade’ gold results up to 17.8 grams per tonne gold.

Further, 2 separate gold lodes were defined over 130m each, trending north-south roughly parallel with stratigraphy. Both lodes are open along strike to the north and south for 300m in both directions.

Managing Director Ben Dunn says: “The identification of gold mineralisation at surface in outcropping quartz veins at the Maggie Hays Hill Project adds to the existing compelling lithium exploration plan.”

The Maggie Hays Hill project lies in Western Australia near Esperance and covers a 49km-square targeting lithium, tantalum, niobium, and gold.

Intra Energy Corporation is a diversified mineral and energy group focused on battery, base, and precious metals.

As of 31 December 2023, the company had $2.254 million cash and cash equivalents at hand, according to its latest quarterly report.
