Infinity Mining (ASX:IMI) was today (17 January 2024) suspended from trade on the Australian Securities Exchange, pending further disclosure on its maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Central Goldfields Project in Western Australia.
The company yesterday reported it has delivered a maiden 60,000-ounce plus inferred MRE and has also completed a ‘highly prospective’ exploration target estimate in conjunction with the maiden MRE.
Infinity says it will continue to refocus and plan ‘high-value’ generative steps for lithium discoveries in the ‘world-class’ Pilbara Lithium Province.
The exploration target estimate delivered ‘extremely encouraging’ results with up to 592,000 ounces @ 3.7 grams per tonne potentially discoverable across the project.
Meanwhile, the company will continue to undertake discussions with third parties in relation to the sale or partnerships of non-core assets, including Central Goldfields.
According to Infinity, it is on track to monetise the Goldfields assets during Q1 2024.
The Central Goldfields project comprises 10 mining and prospecting licences in the prolific gold district of Leonora.
Infinity Mining is an explorer with a focus on lithium, gold, nickel, and copper.
