Honey Badger Silver (TSX-V:TUF) has outlined three strategic priorities at its Prairie Creek Silver Mine in the Northwest Territories, Northern Canada, to maximise its net present value.
The company plans to progress site access infrastructure, refurbish existing mill facilities, and expand drilling programs at the brownfield redevelopment project.
Executive Chairman Chad Williams says “management and the board are aligned around a clear operating strategy to add value to the PC Silver Mine”.
“We believe the PC Silver Mine is one of the most compelling high-grade silver redevelopment projects in the world. This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the quality and scale of the asset,” Williams adds.
The company’s first priority involves bringing the mine closer to production through work on a future all-season road and advancing transportation infrastructure.
Honey Badger’s second focus centres on initiating phased refurbishment of existing mill and surface infrastructure at the project, which the company believes represents an important strategic advantage relative to other mining projects globally.
The third priority targets growing the silver and critical minerals resource through underground and surface drilling programs. Additional testing will sample existing core and outcrops for germanium, tungsten, and other strategic metals.
Honey Badger continues working collaboratively with Indigenous governments, Parks Canada, the Government of the Northwest Territories, and other regulators as part of the ongoing development process.
The company also intends to evaluate opportunities to reduce project risk and minimise shareholder dilution through potential strategic partnerships or arrangements.
As previously reported by Mining.com.au, Honey Badger acquired full ownership of the Prairie Creek Silver Project in Q2 2026 for C$12 million ($12.15 million) in cash, shares, and warrants.
The PC Silver Mine is a high-grade silver-zinc-lead project that benefits from substantial historical investment and infrastructure, including underground development, an existing mill, an airstrip, and advanced permitting.
Honey Badger Silver is a Canadian silver and critical minerals company focused on advancing its flagship ‘high‑grade’ Prairie Creek Silver Mine in the Northwest Territories.
