Hamelin reloads the drill rigs at Day Dawn

Hamelin Gold (ASX:HMG) has raised just under $8 million and is putting the money straight back into the ground.

Managing Director Peter Bewick says drilling is already underway again at the Day Dawn Project after ‘high-grade’, near-surface gold from the maiden program pointed to a potentially larger mineral system.

  • Fresh funds: Just under $8 million raised
  • Day Dawn: Around 3,000m of reverse circulation drilling underway
  • Bigger picture: Testing open mineralisation
  • Going deep: Diamond drilling is planned for September and October
  • Venus next: First drilling is also being lined up near Cue

Hamelin’s Day Dawn Gold Project sits about 10km northwest of the Telfer gold-copper mine in Western Australia and includes the Aurora, Sparrows, and Phoenix prospects.

The rods are spinning.

Now Hamelin wants to find out how deep the rabbit hole goes.

About the guest and company:
Peter Bewick is the managing director of Hamelin Gold, an ASX-listed gold explorer advancing projects across Western Australia, including Day Dawn, West Tanami, and Venus.
