Hamelin launches West Tanami drilling campaign

Hamelin Gold (ASX:HMG) has begun a 3,600m reverse circulation drilling campaign at the West Tanami Gold Project in Western Australia.

Drilling will focus on targeting bedrock gold mineralisation beneath the Sultan West and Sultan Central aircore anomalies, as well as extensions of gold mineralisation intersected at Sultan Main.

The campaign will also test for mineralisation at depth beneath the Fremlins South aircore regolith anomaly.

Managing Director Peter Bewick says “the commencement of this program marks another key milestone for these new, high-quality gold targets and success in this drill program will provide significant momentum to accelerate our activities in the exciting frontier gold province.”

The first round of assays are expected in July 2024, followed by the results from Fremlins South in August 2024.

Hamelin Gold is based in Perth, Western Australia and has a landholding of 2,489km2 in the Tanami Gold Province.
