Gunnison Copper’s (TSX:GCU) major shareholder Greenstone Resources II is issuing all of its shares in the company to institutional investors through an offering.
Greenstone Resources II, along with its affiliates Greenstone Excelsior Holdings, Greenstone Co-Investment No 1, and Greenstone Co-Investment No 2, have orchestrated an agreement with Paradigm Capital to act as an agent in this offering.
The major shareholder will issue all of its 143.21 million shares in Gunnison, which equates to a 33.88% stake in the company, on or by 17 February 2026 following the execution of share purchase agreements.
CEO Stephen Twyerould says Greenstone Resources has been a “valued and supportive partner” for over 10 years.
“Greenstone has played an important role in the company’s growth and advancement, and we deeply appreciate their long-standing commitment and contribution to our progress,” Twyerould says.
Gunnison Copper is a copper developer and producer with multiple assets in the Cochise Mining District. The district holds 12 known deposits across an 8km radius in the Southern Arizona Copper Belt.
The company is focused on advancing the Gunnison Copper Project in Tucson, Arizona, which hosts a measured and indicated resource of more than 831.6 million tons for a total grade of 0.31% copper.
