Gunnison closes oversubscribed bought deal offering

Gunnison Copper (TSX:GCU) has closed its bought deal public offering to advance the Gunnison Copper Project in Arizona, raising C$34.5 million ($34.82 million).

The company issued 82.14 million shares at C$0.42 each, including the full exercise of the over-allotment option for 10.71 million shares.

Canaccord Genuity Group (TSX:CF) led a syndicate of underwriters for the offering, with Paradigm Capital as the co-lead alongside Canaccord Genuity, while Ventum Financial and CIBC Capital Markets participated as underwriters.

Canaccord Genuity also acted as the sole bookrunner.

Gunnison originally intended to raise C$30 million in this offering through the issuance of 71.43 million shares, as reported by Mining.com.au.

Gunnison Copper is a multi-asset pure-play copper developer and producer that controls the Cochise Mining District in the Southern Arizona Copper Belt in the US.
