Group 6 Metals (ASX: G6M) has appointed Keith McKnight as its new CEO as the company moves forward with redevelopment at its flagship Dolphin Tungsten Mine on King Island in the Bass Strait.
Mr McKnight brings over 22 years of hands on experience in project delivery and management in the mining and energy sectors, with experience in mechanical design, contract management, construction management, commissioning and operations management. Previous roles include Managing Director and co-founder of Kirrama Resources Limited, a commodities development company with chromite and manganese projects in Madagascar.
Speaking on the appointment, Group 6 Metals Executive Chairman Johann Jacobs said: “On behalf of the Board, it is with great pleasure that I welcome Keith to the Group 6 Metals executive team. Over the past three years, Group 6 Metals has focused on raising the financing and securing the offtake required to enable the redevelopment of the Dolphin Tungsten Mine located on King Island, Tasmania.
