Goldsky appoints environmental manager for Swedish operations

Goldsky Resources (TSX-V:GSKR) has appointed Gabriella Hammarskjöld as environmental manager of subsidiary Goldsky Sweden AB, effective 1 September.

Hammarskjöld brings over 24 years of Swedish environmental and permitting experience across mining, infrastructure, energy, and major industrial developments.

Her career includes senior positions with Sweco, Nordkalk, Vattenfall, SKB, Sida, and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

Managing Director Nordics Noora Ahola says Hammarskjöld is one of Sweden’s most experienced environmental permitting professionals.

“Her appointment reflects our commitment to building an exceptional Nordic team capable of responsibly advancing projects of national significance,” Ahola says.

“Attracting professionals of Gabriella’s calibre is a strong endorsement of both our projects and our long-term vision.”

The appointment comes as Goldsky advances its flagship Barsele Gold Project in central Sweden following the consolidation of 100% ownership.

The project hosts an indicated mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 7.88 million tonnes (Mt) @1.27 grams per tonne gold (Au) containing 320,000 ounces of Au.

It also hosts an inferred MRE of 28.75Mt @ 1.98g/t Au containing 1.83 million ounces of Au.

The company expects additional technical appointments during 2026 as it builds a project development team.

Goldsky owns a district-scale licence position surrounding Barsele totalling approximately 80,000 hectares on Sweden’s Gold Line greenstone belt, including the Paubacken and Storjuktan projects.

The company also owns the Kylmäkangas deposit in central Finland and the Rajapalot Gold-Cobalt Project in northern Finland.

Goldsky Resources is a gold explorer consolidating assets in Sweden and Finland.
