Meanwhile, the S&P/ASX200 closed up Friday, gaining 26.90 points or 0.37% to 7,220 after setting a new 20-day low.
The top performing stocks in this index were technology company BrainChip Holdings (ASX:BRN) and vertically integrated natural graphite and battery anode company Syrah Resources (ASX:SYR), up 8.86% and 7.41% respectively.
The index has lost 1.22% for the past business days yet sits 4.59% below its 52-week high.
