Galileo defines PGM zones at Mission Sill

Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) has refined two platinum group metals (PGM) target zones extending 1.4km and 2km at its Mission Sill Prospect in Western Australia.

Assays returned anomalous PGM mineralisation on all seven drill lines completed during a 4,500m aircore program across the company’s Norseman Project in June.

Results include 36m @ 0.31 grams per tonne three-element (3E) PGM from 4m in NAC833, including 4m @ 0.50g/t 3E, and 20m @ 0.30g/t 3E from surface in NAC840, including 4m @ 0.56g/t 3E.

NAC851 intersected 16m @ 0.30g/t 3E from 28m, including 1m @ 0.54g/t 3E. The 3E value represents combined palladium, platinum, and gold grades.

Limited reverse circulation drilling completed in December 2025 intersected PGM-bearing sulphides beneath aircore anomalies in both target zones. The sulphide lenses occurred at or near the contact between mafic and ultramafic rocks.

Galileo says deeper RC drilling is required to determine the size and grade of the sulphide zones.

Managing Director Brad Underwood says the latest results have narrowed the search area for further exploration.

“These results strengthen the prospectivity of the target rock unit at the Mission Sill and allow us to focus on the most likely zones for the development of significant sulphide mineralisation,” Underwood says.

Reconnaissance drilling also identified a new gold prospect at Callisto South, where NAC916 returned 4m @ 1.22g/t gold from surface.

Galileo interprets the weathered intersection as predominantly in situ mineralisation along a mapped contact between ultramafic rock and quartz diorite. The contact extends for more than 1.5km, with mapping and sampling planned before further drilling.

The company notes a separate aircore campaign scheduled to begin in September will follow up rock chip results of up to 1.87g/t PGM 3E about 2km along strike from the Callisto deposit. It will also test previously undrilled areas along strike from Callisto North.

Callisto hosts a mineral resource estimate of 17.5 million tonnes @ 1.04g/t 4E, 0.20% nickel, and 0.16% copper.
