Fury starts drilling at Committee Bay

Fury Gold Mines (TSX:FURY) has commenced its 2026 drilling program at the Committee Bay Project in Nunavut, Canada.

The program comprises approximately 5,000m of diamond drilling targeting the Three Bluffs deposit and Antler prospect.

The company plans 13 holes at Three Bluffs across 1km of strike length to infill and expand known mineral resources.

Three holes are planned at the Antler gold zone to test stepout and infill targets identified through historical drilling reviews.

Previous intersections include 9.9m @ 3.19 grams per tonne gold (Au) and 13m @ 4g/t Au, which remain untested along strike and at depth.

CEO Tim Clark says this year’s program focuses on areas where the company believes additional drilling could expand Committee Bay’s existing resource and potentially add ounces at Antler.

“The summer program reflects our continued focus on growing ounces at Committee Bay, thereby generating value across Fury’s gold portfolio through disciplined technical execution,” Clark says.

The Three Bluffs deposit contains 524,000 ounces of gold in 2.1 million tonnes (Mt) @ 7.85g/t Au in the indicated category and 720,000 ounces of gold in 2.9Mt @ 7.64g/t Au in the inferred category.

Results from the 2026 program are expected to be incorporated into a future updated mineral resource estimate.

Fury Gold Mines is a Canadian gold explorer focused on advancing its Committee Bay Project in Nunavut and Eau Claire property in Québec.
