Forrestania winds up Bonnie Vale drilling 

Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) has completed its maiden reverse circulation drilling program at the Ada Ann prospect, part of the Bonnie Vale Project in Western Australia

The program comprised 21 holes for 1,488m of drilling, which aimed to confirm historic “high-grade” intersections, including 4m @ 12.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 25m and 6m @ 6.5g/t gold from 16m. 

Forrestania says drilling was also designed to confirm the depth and strike extensions of mineralisation. 

Chairman John Hannaford says the outcome of this first program has assisted with the company’s understanding of Ada Ann’s mineralisation. 

“The project has been identified as having significant potential to provide a near surface satellite deposit to multiple operating mills in the region,” Hannaford says. 

Samples from the drilling program have been submitted to ALS Laboratory for assaying, which is expected to take between four to six weeks to complete. 

The Bonnie Vale Project covers 75km2 of primarily greenstone terrain in close proximity to the Coolgardie Gold Hub in Western Australia.
