Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) has acquired more than 90% of Kula Gold’s shares and at least 75% of shares offered under its off-market takeover bid from 8 December 2025.
This move allows Forrestania to begin its compulsory acquisition of the remaining shares of Kula under the Corporations Act 2001, on the same terms as the offer.
The compulsory acquisition is expected to close in February 2026. Forrestania will issue consideration to Kula, which will then notify shareholders on how to claim their entitlement.
Forrestania is a gold exploration and development company focused on projects in Western Australia. The acquisition of Kula Gold is in line with the company’s strategy to grow resources and make significant discoveries in Western Australia.
