Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) is undergoing a board restructuring with the appointment of two senior executives, including Dan Brearley as Vice President of Development and Operations and Dougal Elder as CFO.
Both appointments will step into their respective roles on 16 February 2025, which Executive Director Joe Webb says builds on the company’s organisational capacity needed for development towards planned operations.
“Dan’s project delivery background and Dougal’s financial and capital markets experience complement the technical team we have assembled,” Webb says.
“Having this calibre of support around the company gives us the ability to execute on our strategy to become America’s antimony solution.”
Brearley has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in mining project development, construction, and operations, previously acting as the COO for Chalice Mining, leading development activities at the Gonneville Project.
He has tertiary qualifications in civil engineering from the University of Southern Queensland, and has also worked at Barrick Mining Corporation (TSX:ABX) and Newcrest Mining.
Meanwhile, Elder is a chartered accountant with focus in the critical minerals sector.
He acted as CFO for Elevra Lithium (ASX:ELV), which was formerly known as Sayona Mining, delivering a $670 million cross-border merger and its Nasdaq listing.
Elder has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Felix Gold is a gold and critical minerals explorer focused on developing the Tintina gold province of Alaska in the US.
